One thing about my visual-rock-bishies-goth phase is that it did allow me to have an awful lot of fun with clothing. And, uh, medical imagery.

The characters in this picture are both members of the band I created, and wrote about for a little while. I don't use either character any more, though I have hopes for one of them regarding a fanfic I'm planning. The picture was the result of me trying to come up with an 'image' for one of their singles. Yes, it's shamelessly Goth, but that's visual rock for you: basic requirements include lipstick, leather and pretty young men dressed up in the most ridiculous outfits imaginable.

I loved drawing this, though I changed the seated figure's hair color three times, for no reason I can really remember. It was a lot of fun coming up with the characters' outfits. The hypodermic is ridiculously outsized (or maybe our nurse here really works in a vetinarian's) and the straitjacket damn near useless, but the intention here wasn't strict medical accuracy, or even any kind of medical accuracy, but to come up with something that looked vaguely right as a visual rock single concept.

I have no idea how successful I was, but it was fun.
